My alma mater Memphis College of Art was a cultural institution and a linchpin of our arts community, serving as an incubator for artistic talent and a refuge for so many weird little creatives. The void left by MCA’s closure in 2020 has been felt by many.

This is the official school seal, which I had the honor and anxiety of creating as a young design intern!!! This was the first and only time the seal was ever updated since its opening in 1936. This project felt way too important for me at 20 years old, but I am so very thankful that I got to tackle it and be a part of MCA’s graphic design history.
