My alma mater Memphis College of Art was a cultural institution and a linchpin of our arts community, serving as an incubator for artistic talent and a refuge for so many weird little creatives. The void left by MCA’s closure in 2020 has been felt by many.

This retro design was sourced from a vintage sweatshirt found in Memphis, TN and reproduced by Holtermonster—MCA Alumni, BFA 2011. I’m unsure if this design was an official merch design from the school or perhaps done by a student, but it’s gorgeous and I’ve only seen it once!

This repro is printed on black Comfort Colors so others have the chance to sport this beautiful vintage design!
